Tottenham make Richarlison transfer decision after deal agreed – sources
Tottenham are still planning to accept a big-money Richarlison offer even though he has publicly stated he wants to stay in the Premier League, sources have told Football Insider.
Speaking on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track podcast, senior correspondent Pete O’Rourke revealed that there has been long-term interest in the Brazil international from the Saudi Pro League.
Even though a deal for Dominic Solanke doesn’t hinge on Richarlison being sold, it is believed it could still pave the way for the Brazil international’s exit.
The south-coast outfit have agreed a club-record fee with Tottenham for Solanke, which places Richarlison’s future up in the air.
Saudi Arabian clubs are said to be keeping tabs on this situation, and they could feel the timing is right to make a bid if Solanke officially joins Tottenham.
A life-changing financial offer could prove difficult personally for Richarlison to turn down, plus a move would guarantee him more game time.
Tottenham could cash in on Richarlison despite his public comments
Earlier this week, Richarlison publicly stated that he wants to remain in the Premier League, claiming that Tottenham is his home.
The 27-year-old featured regularly under Ange Postecoglou last season, making 31 appearances in all competitions as he scored 12 goals.
But the fact Spurs are in the market for a striker showcases that Postecoglou could be considering shaking things up for next season.

Another forward who is expected to leave the club before the 31st August cut-off is Manor Soloman.
