Top of his game – Dier raves about Tottenham teammate while revealing 'simple' aim v Arsenal

Eric Dier has revealed the mentality of the Tottenham team ahead of the north London Derby with Arsenal, while taking time to praise Christian Eriksen.
In an interview with the Telegraph, the England international shared the basic aim of his team by saying “the mentality going into it is to win, simple really.”
Spurs have only won one of the last 28 fixtures away to Arsenal and the Gunners are in great home form having won all five of their games at the Emirates.
Arsenal are the bookie’s favourite to win the match, priced at 7/5 with Spurs at 9/5 to win on SkyBet.
Spurs currently hold the advantage in the league, sitting third after 11 games with 23 points, four points ahead of the sixth placed Gunners.

Last season, Tottenham were able to finish above Arsenal for the first time in years as well as achieving four points from their league meetings.
The Gunners did manage to register a win over Spurs last season, defeating them 2-1 in the third round.
Aside from revealing Tottenham’s target for the north London derby, the midfielder had high praise for his teammate Eriksen.
“We’re seeing the best Christian Eriksen we’ve ever seen at the moment”, Dier said before adding, “hopefully, he can keep going.”
Both Dier and Eriksen have been regulars for Spurs this season, with Dier playing 17 times and Eriksen 15 across all competitions.
The Danish international has contributed four goals and four assists in his 15 outings whereas the more defensive-minded Dier has still managed to register one assist in his 17 games.
