Barcelona have entered the race to sign Tottenham midfielder Dele Alli, according to a report.
The Mirror report that Spanish giants Barcelona are set to challenge rivals Real Madrid for Alli’s signature, who have been interested in Spurs’ star.
It is understood that the La Liga pair would have to cough up at least £70million to sign him from White Hart Lane.
The report details that Madrid are banned from signing players in the January transfer window, but will make a serious attempt in the summer for Spurs’ ace.
Alli has emerged as one of the best youngsters in European football and has enjoyed a meteoric rise since he left MK Dons for Spurs in a £5million deal in 2015.

The attacking midfielder is hoping to lead Spurs towards the Premier League title this season and they are currently third in the table, just seven points adrift of Chelsea.
Football Insider verdict:
Spurs most convince Alli to ignore interest from Europe’s elite clubs and concentrate on becoming a White Hart Lane great. The youngster is already on the path to becoming a club legend and could achieve that if he stayed in north London for the next 10 years. Most people agree that Alli has the potential to become a superstar and he can still achieve that without joining Spanish giants. Spurs are currently trying to establish themselves as a top side in England and it would be a huge blow to lose Alli. Pochettino has built a young exciting squad in recent seasons and they are set for a long stay at the top-end of the Premier League.
