Tottenham next manager: Sean Dyche appointment will lead to Spurs’ relegation
Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly considering appointing Sean Dyche to lead them to Premier League survival.
The former Nottingham Forest manager was only dismissed at the City Ground in February, but could quickly find himself back in the dugout.
Igor Tudor’s reign clearly has not worked out, and Spurs are now considering Dyche in the hopes he can save the club.
However, his record against Tottenham’s upcoming opponents is dire and would surely lead to their relegation.
Below, Football Insider has examined why a Dyche Tottenham appointment would end in disaster.

While Dyche’s sacking at Forest was widely criticised, his record in the final month of his reign was poor.
The East Midlands side were edging closer and closer to the relegation zone, with West Ham United finally starting to pick up points.

| Games managed | 18 |
| Wins | 6 |
| Draws | 4 |
| Losses | 8 |
| Win percentage | 44.4% |
Many of the results were damning as well, with Forest even unable to beat Wolverhampton Wanderers at the City Ground, despite the club being bottom of the Premier League.
While he was able to produce some decent wins, Tottenham simply cannot consider him for the final seven matches of the season.
While at Forest, Dyche came up against five of these seven teams, only failing to face Sunderland and Chelsea.

In these eight matches, he lost five, with his only points being against Wolves, winning one and drawing the other meeting, and a victory at home to Leeds United.
If this is replicated, it would surely result in Tottenham’s relegation, even if they somehow beat both Sunderland and Chelsea.
Therefore, if Spurs are to sack Tudor, they must look at other options aside from Dyche.
Could Tottenham still appoint Roberto De Zerbi?
Ex-Everton, Aston Villa, and Aberdeen chief executive Keith Wyness exclusively told Football Insider that Tottenham may appoint another interim manager in order to wait for Roberto De Zerbi in the summer.
The Italian appears reluctant to join Spurs at present, given their current battle for relegation.

Therefore, Tottenham may look to give another coach the last seven games to try and save the club before De Zerbi comes in during the summer.
However, with this, there are plenty of risks, especially if Tottenham do go down, as the Italian may not fancy managing the club in the Championship.
