Tottenham plan to accept Troy Parrott offer – sources
Bundesliga sides are interested in signing Tottenham forward Troy Parrott this summer, sources have told Football Insider.
The 22-year-old has spent the 2023-24 season out on loan at Dutch side Excelsior after struggling to break into the first-team plans at Spurs.
Parrott has shone during his loan spell in the Netherlands with seven goals and three assists for Excelsior this season.
Now, well-placed sources have told Football Insider that German top-flight sides are keen for his services.
It is believed that Tottenham are willing to let him go and will sell if they receive an appropriate offer.
As revealed by Football Insider, Tottenham are in the market for a new striker this summer and have joined the race to sign Newcastle United forward Alexander Isak.
After a slow start to his loan stint, Parrott had become the first-choice striker at the Dutch side and had made 20 successive appearances for the club before suffering a hamstring injury in March.
Parrott has only made four senior appearances for Spurs since breaking into the senior team in 2019.

He has one year remaining on his Tottenham contract after signing an extension to his deal in 2022.
Spurs could look to sell the youngster if clubs table a suitable bid for the young forward in the summer transfer window.
