Tottenham: Sean Dyche suddenly named betting favourite to replace Igor Tudor as ‘SOS call’ considered
Tottenham Hotspur are considering the appointment of Sean Dyche in a last-ditch effort to save the club from relegation.
The Lilywhites are set to travel to Sunderland after the international break, on a weekend in which they could easily fall into the relegation zone.
West Ham, who sit just one point behind the North London club, will face Premier League bottom-club Wolves at the London Stadium.
Igor Tudor has reportedly been ready to walk away from the remaining seven Premier League games of the season, after suffering a family bereavement.
The interim Tottenham manager has struggled to get his team firing, winning just one of his seven games in charge across all competitions.

Former Everton chief executive Keith Wyness exclusively told Football Insider on Thursday that Tottenham could be set to appoint Dyche, with the possibility now gaining traction.
The Englishman is available after leaving Nottingham Forest in February, where he had guided his team out of the barren run experienced under Ange Postecoglou, before being dismissed after a run of three consecutive matches without victory.

The 54-year-old has been linked with various jobs since his City Ground exit, but the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium now appears to be a plausible destination.
The Telegraph reported on Friday that Tottenham are considering an ‘SOS call’ to Dyche for the final seven games, with Roberto De Zerbi still holding out for a summer appointment.

The hours since the report have seen one major bookmaker dramatically slash Dyche’s odds from 6/1 just days ago, to become the favourite at 2/1.
Tottenham fans react to Dyche news
Tottenham fans largely reacted with bemusement and disappointment at the news, with many seeing little change with Dyche.
The manager will certainly make them sturdier, which may bring more points to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, but he is certainly not the inspired attacking change.
But this point in the season, and in the situation Tottenham find themselves in, it may well be a case of you get what you are given.
One fan wrote: “Sean Dyche at Spurs? That is dark times”. While another wrote: “Another downgrade”.
Some Tottenham supporters were more accepting of their position, with one asking: “Do you understand what stage we are in?”
“Y’know I went to put my Spurs hoodie on yesterday and I thought I can’t wear that, that’s humiliating,” wrote a more negative fan. “That’s where I am at with this club.”
