Walker-Peters is yet to made his first-team debut for Spurs but a new contract shows clear intent from Mauricio Pochettino that he is willing to bring the London-born defender through the Spurs ranks.
He will be hoping that he can challenge the likes of Kyle Walker and Danny Rose for a starting place.
The closest the versatile full-back has got to first-team action this season was when he appeared on the bench in Spurs’ two FA Cup wins against Aston Villa and Wycombe Wanderers.
He has made 14 appearances for the Tottenham Under-23 squad this season in Premier League 2 as well as six appearances in the UEFA Youth League, where he played against the youth teams of Bayer Leverkusen, Monaco and CSKA Moscow.
Walker-Peters will now be focusing on continuing to impress Pochettino as he looks to build on his already impressive career at youth level.
