Tottenham tipped to reject '£15m' Ndombele bid after Sky reveal - pundit
Tottenham will only get bids of “£15million” Tanguy Ndombele and therefore will not sell him in January, according to Gabby Agbonlahor.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England attacker claimed Ndombele’s style of play will put off a lot of potential managers.
The 25-year-old hit a new low at Tottenham on Sunday (9 January) after he was booed off during their 3-1 win over Morecambe.
Sky Sports reported yesterday (10 January) the club have held talks with Ndombele who would be open to a move.
As quoted by football.london today (11 January), Antonio Conte refused to be drawn on the player’s future as he insisted he would not discuss it in the media.
“They won’t be selling him because they will only get offers of £15million,” Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley.

“He’s a player who only suits certain managers. That’s the problem. He’s not going to suit some managers because his work rate isn’t there.
“Football has changed now. You can’t stroll around a pitch and have a couple of moments of brilliance.
“You have to be bang at it all the time. You’ve got to put in the hard yards with the tracking back and the pressing. That’s something he needs to do.”
Sunday’s game against League One strugglers was only Ndombele’s second start under Conte but he was dragged off after just before the 70-minute mark.
The French midfielder has completed 90 minutes just seven times in the Premier League since the beginning of last season.
