Pundit predicts Tottenham to sign ‘six top players’ after ‘Levy’s big statement’

Daniel Levy will soon sanction “five or six” exciting transfers at Tottenham to appease the fans and replace outgoing talents.

That is according to ex-Premier League shot-stopper Paddy Kenny, speaking exclusively to Football Insider with Spurs set for a hectic summer.

Levy recently promised that the club will hire a new manager who practises “attacking and entertaining” football.

An appointment will be announced in the coming days after Spurs conducted multiple rounds of talks with Belgium boss Roberto Martinez.

Any incoming manager must reckon with the potential departures of Harry Kane and Dele Alli, while on-loan Gareth Bale is set to return to Real Madrid.

Kenny expects Levy to go on a recruitment spree to offset the mooted mass exodus at Spurs.

He told Football Insider correspondent Adam Williams: “Dele Alli could go, Bale, Kane… Bloody hell.

“They’ll need five or six top new players then to replace them. It’s not easy to get that amount of players in any summer.

“But they might be able to get players cheaper than they otherwise would, possibly. It will be very interesting to see what comes.

“It’s a big statement last week from Levy but you’d expect him to back that up now and keep the fans happy. I’m sure they’ll want a better season than the one they’ve just had.

This site revealed on Monday that Spurs are prepared to bin Alli, who staff say is difficult to manage.

Kane has reiterated his desire to leave the North Londoners after Football Insider revealed in April that he had told friends he wanted a new challenge.

In other news, this may be the real reason behind Alli issues at Tottenham.
