Tottenham’s Dom Solanke, Destiny Udogie react to Radu Dragusin’s ‘excuses’ message
Dominic Solanke and Destiny Udogie reacted to a message from Radu Dragusin on social media.
Dragusin has been out since February after tearing his ACL in a Europa League fixture against Swedish side, Elfsborg.
It was a devastating blow not only for the Romanian international who had been steadily finding his feet in North London, but also for manager Ange Postecoglou, who was left with little by way of defensive cover at the time.
Several months down the line, Spurs have only just started to be able to field their first-choice backline, thanks to Pedro Porro, Micky van de Ven, Cristian Romero, and Udogie all suffering with fitness issues this season.
However, even with all of his top defenders fit, things have not improved for Postecoglou and the Tottenham boss seems to be running out of time to fix the North London side’s form.

Radu Dragusin posts injury update for Tottenham fans
Just a few days after Tottenham suffered their 18th defeat in the Premier League this season, Dragusin posted a video of himself hard at work on Instagram as he recovers from his knee injury.
The video was captioned: “10 weeks post-surgery. No shortcuts. No excuses. Just hard work.”
Tottenham stars Solanke and Udogie both liked the video, showing support for the Romanian on his journey to recovery from the injury.
Ange Postecoglou excuses running dry as exit nears
Football Insider Verdict
It will be a sad day when Postecoglou does eventually leave Tottenham, and it could be any day soon if the North London club’s form continues as it is.
The Australian brings with him a witty and likeable personality in press conferences and when his team is firing, his style of football is brilliant to watch.
However, we have seen little of either of those things this season. Postecoglou has been dour and moody with the media, and whilst that’s understandable at times, the product on the pitch has been nothing like last year’s.
Gone are the maniacally high lines and uber-aggressive pressing football, replaced with a tepid side that looks ready to gift goals to the opposition at a moments notice.
Injuries haven’t helped, but with most of his squad back fit for several weeks now and results not improving, the excuses have run dry for Postecoglou.
