Instead, the star full-back is clearly making headway in his move to the Bernabeu, with a new update now sharing details on the progress made with the La Liga giants.

Arne Slot must move on quickly after Trent Alexander-Arnold blow
Football Insider verdict
The majority of upset supporters are more annoyed at losing one of the sport’s most talented players on a free transfer than anything else, though Slot will need to learn to trust Conor Bradley instead.
Some of the raw reactions are understandable, especially those that have grown to love Alexander-Arnold over the last decade, but other messages on social media are just wrong and outrageous.

It makes total sense, given that Arne Slot took over from Jurgen Klopp was not able to make too many changes to the squad ahead of the 2024/25 campaign.
One of his only signings, Federico Chiesa, has failed to make any sort of impact during his time at Anfield and could already be set to follow Alexander-Arnold out the exit doors at the end of the season.
