Gerard Deulofeu scored a stunning set-piece goal for Everton in their first pre-season loss against Dynamo Dresden, and Twitter has reacted in classic fashion.
The Toffees have already beaten Barnsley and MK Dons in their pre-season build up to the start of the new Premier League campaign, and Deulofeu scored in both of those too. The Spaniard is relishing his new role up front.
Deulofeu bagged a great free-kick goal against Dresden and Everton fans were in high spirits about the goal, despite seeing their side lose the game 2-1.

If Deulofeu stays on set-pieces, he could be an #FPL sweetheart. https://t.co/bYuLhAXDWK

Koeman putting Deulofeu on freekicks aint clever, it’s common sense.
Martinez put baines on them because he’s a local-ish guy.— SK23 (@_SK23_) 29 July 2016

Deulofeu joined Everton from Barcelona in 2015 after a successful 12-month loan spell at the club two seasons before.
The Spaniard has made 29 appearances and scored four goals during his first stay, which promoted a permanent transfer of £4.2million for the 22-year-old.
