Twitter revelation by Rangers star surely means Ibrox 24-year-old will be binned by Mark Allen
It definitely seems as though Rangers director of football Mark Allen is preparing a number of deals ahead of the summer transfer window with Hull and Scotland goalkeeper Allan McGregor said to be close to re-signing for the Gers.
The Scottish Sun had reported that McGregor is due to undergo a medical with the Light Blues before putting the final touches to a pre-summer deal with the club that will be announced before the end of the week.
It was also reported that McGregor’s arrival would mean that current Rangers number one Wes Foderingham would be shipped out to as neither would be keen on playing second fiddle to the other.
However Gers star Foderingham has revealed on his personal Twitter account that he is in fact not going anywhere, despite the Sun reporting that both Nottingham Forest and Sheffield Wednesday would be willing to offer him the chance to keep his number one role in England.
@wes_foderingham why you leaving pal? I want answers

If Foderingham is staying put and McGregor is Ibrox-bound, then that surely means that the writing is on the wall for Jak Alnwick, who looks set to be binned by Allen in the coming months.

Alnwick has been second choice at Ibrox since arriving from Port Vale in January last year, appearing just seven times across all competitions.
The 24-year-old could be playing against Celtic on Sunday unless Foderingham recovers from an injury, and that could end up being the last time that fans will see him.
In other Rangers and Celtic news, Allen would become a Gers legend if he signs this Celtic-mad midfielder who rejected Walter Smith.
