Tottenham to make Mathys Tel decision amid doubts over permanent deal

While Solanke’s form continues to shine, Bayern Munich loanee Mathys Tel has seen his minutes limited, often deployed out wide rather than in his preferred central role.
Former Manchester United chief scout Mick Brown told Football Insider that Tottenham plan to hold discussions with Bayern before making a decision on Tel’s future.
However, a permanent stay in North London appears unlikely, with Spurs unwilling to meet Bayern’s £45 million asking price for Tel.
The Frenchman was one of the most highly sought-after prospects during the January window but has endured a frustrating stint at Tottenham and as things stand, his next destination remains uncertain.
