Vincent Janssen has taken to Twitter to hail Tottenham’s convincing 4-0 victory over Watford in the Premier League on Saturday.
The Holland international started the match at White Hart Lane, but he failed to trouble the score sheet before being brought off on the 61st minute in a tactical substitution for the returning Harry Kane.
Despite Janssen not scoring the side were aided by goals elsewhere with Dele Alli and Eric Dier finding the back of the net before Son Heung-min struck two goals himself.
Now, after the game Janssen has shared a message to fans on his personal Twitter account hailing his teammate’s performance alongside a plus three and strong arm emoji.

Janssen’s appearance on Saturday was his 34th for the club in what has so far been a frustrating debut season for the Dutchman.

The 22-year-old cost Tottenham a huge £17million from AZ Alkmaar in the summer after a stunning return of 32 goals and seven assists in 49 matches in all competitions in his home country.
However, he has struggled to bring that form with him to England and just one of his five goals for the club have come from open play.
Janssen will be hoping for further chances before the season’s end, but with just seven matches left as well as the returning Kane it is unclear how many more minutes he will see out on the pitch this campaign.
