Vincent Janssen states what is important for Tottenham ahead of Burnley clash
By Amir Mir
Vincent Janssen has stated that there are “important” months of games coming up for Tottenham ahead of their clash against Burnley on Saturday afternoon.
The international break is now over and Spurs will be focusing their attention to cementing a top-four place in the Premier League.
They are currently second in the table, ten points behind leaders Chelsea and seven points ahead of fifth-placed Manchester United.
However, for the next few weeks at least, Spurs will be without their star striker Harry Kane who is currently on the sidelines with an injury.
Backup option Janssen will be hoping to start the weekend fixture and this was the message he sent to the fans ahead of that match.

Prior to the international break, Tottenham secured a narrow 2-1 home win against Southampton with Soun Heung-Min and Dele Alli getting on the scoresheet.
Dutchman Janssen was brought on as a late substitute and it is likely he will remain on the bench for the away encounter.
Since moving to White Hart Lane in the summer, Janssen has struggled at his new club, scoring just five goals in all competitions.
He has started just 13 games during this campaign and has not started a Premier League match since the 3-2 home win against West Ham in November.
After the Burnley trip, Pochettino’s side will travel to league strugglers Swansea on Wednesday night before rounding the week off with a home clash against Watford.
