Vinnie Jones has hailed Leeds for their fantastic season and believes there is much more to come in the future.
The Whites saw their play-off dreams crushed on the penultimate round of Championship fixtures and they are now unable to finish in the top six.
Garry Monk’s side produced a stunning comeback to salvage a 3-3 draw at home to Norwich on Saturday, but they needed a victory to have any realistic chance of making the play-offs.
The Yorkshire club are three points behind sixth-placed Fulham and would need a remarkable 14-goal swing in the final round of fixtures.
Jones has delivers a passionate message about Leeds and voiced his pride despite a disappointing end to the season.
“Leeds a massive effort yesterday a massive season next year a massive club with massive support awaken the lion for next season,” Jones wrote on his personal Twitter account.

Leeds showed immense character to fight back from three goals down against Norwich, but they fell just short of what would have been a dramatic victory.
The club’s supporters have been left bitterly disappointed this campaign after looking a certain bet for the play-offs during most of the season.
Monk has enjoyed a brilliant first season at Elland Road and his side were at the top-end for the majority.
However, a dramatic dip of form recently has seen them slide out of the top-six places and they are now guaranteed a seventh-placed finish.
