Centre-back Jansson played the full match, alongside his regular partner Kyle Bartley as they kept the Wednesday attackers quiet throughout the match.
It was in-form striker Chris Wood, who has scored his 20th Championship goal of the season when he opened the scoring after 24 minutes.
The away team had the chance to get on the scoresheet through Jordan Rhodes, but the on-loan forward saw his second-half penalty saved.

Sweden international Jansson is on loan from Italian side Torino, but the experienced player will make his move to Elland Road permanent in the summer.
That is no surprise because he has been one of the main reasons why Garry Monk’s side are in with a chance of making a return to the Premier League for the first time in 13 years.
This season, Jansson has played 27 Championship, EFL Cup and FA Cup games for his side, during those matches, he has helped them secure an all-important ten clean sheets.
Monk’s team will now focus their attention for an away clash against Birmingham City on March 3.
