Tottenham fans have urged Mauricio Pochettino to complete the signing of Wilfried Zaha after he scored a sublime solo goal for Ivory Coast.

The Mirror claim that Crystal Palace’s Wilfried Zaha is one of two players Spurs are looking to bring to White Hart Lane in the summer, along with Everton’s Ross Barkley.

Zaha, 24, scored an exceptional goal after an incredible run during Ivory Coast’s 2-0 win over Russia in a friendly on Friday, after Aston Villa striker Jonathan Kodjia opened the scoring.

The former Manchester United ace, known for his explosive pace that allows him to drift past defenders, beat four outfield players before lifting the ball over goalkeeper Igor Akinfeev.

Tottenham fans reacted on Twitter by trying to persuade manager Pochettino that the winger would be a top signing, if brought to north London.

Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:

Despite playing in a struggling Crystal Palace side this season, Zaha has had a hand in 13 goals during his 27 league and cup encounters.

Scoring against the likes of Swansea, Hull and Middlesbrough, Crystal Palace’s number 11 has also turned provider on eight occasions and could be brought in to rival the likes of Moussa Sissoko, Georges N’Koudou and Erik Lamela.

In other Tottenham transfer news, Pochettino has reportedly thrown his hat into the ring for this Premier League defender.
