Poch demands more invention, these are two players Tottenham want this summer - report
By Amir Mir
Tottenham will look to sign Premier League duo Wilfred Zaha and Ross Barkley in the summer, according to a report.
The Mirror claim that the north London club are plotting a double raid for the Crystal Palace and Everton players respectively.
It is said Spurs manager Mauricio Pochettino has a long-standing interest in the pair and he sees them as the men to bring more invention and creativity to the team.
The club’s squad depth has been tested this season with Champions League football and injuries to first team players exposing the fragilities outside of Pochettino strongest starting XI.
The Mirror report that Zaha, 24, wanted to join Spurs last summer after the Eagles rejected two approaches from the Champions League chasers for their player.

It is said Palace will demand £30million for their winger who has a contract at Selhurst Park until 2020.
By contrast, Barkley’s deal at Goodison Park runs until 2018 and it is reported that current league leaders Chelsea are another party interested in the 23-year-old playmaker.
However, their London rivals believe they can win the battle to his signature by convincing him that he will play more regular football under Pochettino.
The highly-rated duo have been key members for their respective teams this term, with Zaha aiming to help Palace survive relegation while Barkley is hoping to secure Europa League football with the Toffees.
Football Insider verdict:
If Spurs can make these deals happen in the summer then it will show a real sign of intent from the club. They recently tasted Champions League football and their current starting XI has the hallmarks of a Premier League winning team. However, the lack of quality behind the starting XI is currently stalling Spurs from pushing over the line. Both Zaha and Barkley would add quality and that much-needed depth if they are snapped up in the summer.
