Premier League duo eye former Liverpool full-back rated at £30m – reports

Former Liverpool flop Javier Manquillo is a target for Premier League pair Watford and Sunderland, according to a report.
Spanish outlet Mundo Deportivo claim the Atletico Madrid full-back is attracting interest from a number of clubs including Watford, Sunderland, Roma and Napoli.
It was reported by the Sun in March that Atletico were asking £30million for the defender, after a strong season in Ligue 1 for Marseille.
The latest report Mundo Deportivo says finding an agreement between sides is proving to be difficult.
The 22-year-old Spaniard played 43 times while on loan at Marseille, and impressed as they finished a disappointing 13th in the league.
Marseille opted not to sign the defender on a permanant deal, and instead brought in Haroki Sakai from Hannover.
Brendan Rodgers signed the full-back in 2014, bringing him to Merseyside on a two year loan deal with an eye on a permanent move.
However after failing to nail down a regular place in the Liverpool first-team and eventually being reduced to occasional appearances on the bench, both sides agreed to terminate Manquillo’s loan last summer.
The left-back spot continues to be a problem position for Liverpool, who currently have Alberto Moreno as their first choice but boss Jurgen Klopp opted to start James Milner in the role last weekend as they lost 2-0 to Burnley.
In other Liverpool news, they are close to agreeing £5million defender deal.
