Wenham delivers verdict on new Tottenham owners after anti-ENIC protest at NFL
The Tottenham fans who protested against the current ownership on Sunday need to gain some perspective.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Some Spurs fans gathered outside the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday to protest the current ownership.
This came as the venue played host to one of two NFL matches that will be held over the international break.
The Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was built with this in mind and was designed with built-in NFL equipment.
Wenham disagrees with the “two or three” people who protested and insisted this group does not represent the majority of Tottenham fans.

“This is a small section of Tottenham fans,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“They have decided, for whatever reason, they want a change in ownership.
“There have been a couple of times these people have protested now. We saw it against Aston Vill at the end of last season.
“We saw it again during the NFL Game on the weekend. What was that in reality? It was two or three people holding up boards.
“I’ve seen other clubs protesting the owners. Maybe they took some inspiration from the Man Utd fans who protested the Glazers.
“They protested a lack of investment then there was investment over the summer and then they invested in the summer.
“The protesting isn’t for me. I’ve seen Tottenham come from a bottom half club and grow into a team that made the Champions League final.
“There needs to be some perspective.”
