Wenham: Pundits are wrong to 'scapegoat' Kane as he names who's really to blame for Tottenham woes
Harry Kane is not to blame as Tottenham continue their poor Premier League form.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Kane is now goalless in five Premier League outings this season after failing to find the net against Arsenal on Sunday.
The striker was the lowest-rated Tottenham star on the BBC’s player ratings poll after the game.
Fans can rate a player’s performance between one and ten, with Kane picking up an average rating of just 2.49.
Speaking to Sky Sports after the game, Gary Neville also claimed “something isn’t right” with Kane and that he “doesn’t look happy”.

Wenham insists the team is failing Kane and he is not to blame for the club’s recent decline.
“He did score at Wolves through the week, that’s what we all expected,” Wenham told Football Insider‘s Ben Wild.
“Yesterday, the whole team was poor. To single him out is wrong. He should have had a penalty in the second half.
“That happens and he would probably score and keep up that record of scoring in the London derbys.
“He was disappointing but the whole team was. He’s being made a scapegoat.
“He’s being hammered. That’s wrong because the team aren’t creating. I said this last week, you can’t just blame Kane for everything.”
Kane has scored three goals in all competitions this season.
They are next in action against Slovenian outfit NS Mura in the Europa Conference League on Thursday.
