Wenham tips Nuno to start three Tottenham youngsters v Mura in mass overhaul
Bryan Gil, Dane Scarlett and Dilan Markanday could all be involved when Tottenham face NS Mura on Thursday night.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Tottenham face Slovenian outfit Mura in the Europa Conference League on Thursday as they look to secure their first win of the group stage.
Mura currently sit fifth in the Slovenian first division after a mixed start to the season.
On paper, Thursday’s home tie should be Spurs’ easiest group game.
As a result, Wenham is predicting Nuno Espirito Santo will name some of the club’s youngsters in his starting XI.

“A big win would do Tottenham the world of good,” Wenham told Football Insider‘s Ben Wild.
“But if our squad players can’t deliver a heavy win against Mura then serious questions need to be asked.
“I see a lot of young players given a chance in this game. I see Dane Scarlett leading the line in this one.
“Bryan Gil is another I want to see, even though he has played in the Premier League. We need to see more of him.
“I would also like to Dilan Markanday involved as well. If we can’t rotate against Mura then we are in trouble.
“This is the perfect time to give these players a proper chance.”
Markanday scored for the Tottenham Under-23 side on Monday and would be making his senior debut if he was involved on Thursday.
Scarlett has already appeared in the ECL this season while Gil has featured heavily off the bench in the Premier League.
