Slaven Bilic is expected to make one change to the side which suffered a 1-0 defeat against Leicester City on New Year’s Eve when they take on Manchester United on Monday evening.

Mark Noble is expected to sit out after picking up a slight knee injury against Leicester so Pedro Obiang could be re-called into the starting XI.

The Hammers have improved in recent games and despite suffering defeat on Saturday, Bilic is expected to name a relatively unchanged side.

It means the back three should consist of Angelo Ogbonna, Cheikhou Kouyate and Winston Reid, who all started against Leicester.

Darren Randolph should retain his place in goal to complete the defence but Manuel Lanzini is expected to miss out in midfield as Obiang is re-called to the side in Noble’s place.

Michail Antonio and Aaron Cresswell as expected to take up their usual roles on the right and left flanks respectively while Obiang is joined by versatility man Havard Nordtveit.

The front three are also likely to remain the same. Andy Carroll is the obvious selection up front and Andre Ayew and Dimitri Payet are also expected to start.

Sofiane Feghouli came on as a second-half substitute for Ayew on Saturday and he could make another appearance against Manchester United, though it’s unlikely he will start.

In other West Ham news, David Moyes gave this emphatic response in regards to the Hammers interest in Jermain Defoe.
