West Ham fans wave goodbye to Mohammed Kudus after what they saw v Forest

West Ham fans are insisting Mohammed Kudus could leave the club this summer after what they saw during their game against Nottingham Forest.

Graham Potter’s side suffered yet another league defeat after Morgan Gibbs-White’s early strike sent the visitors into half-time with a 1-0 lead.

The second half saw Nikola Milenkovic grab a second goal following a lengthy VAR check, and Jarrod Bowen’s late effort was not enough to rescue a point.

However, the spotlight was focused very much on Kudus’ performance, with many supporters claiming they look forward to seeing the back of him.

The Ghana international has been branded “lazy” with some suggesting he “can’t be bothered” after he was taken off after 79 minutes.

This comes after former Hammers scout Mick Brown told Football Insider that Kudus is interested in leaving West Ham amid speculation about a move to Liverpool.

Liverpool interest in Mohammed Kudus questioned after £80m claim

Football Insider revealed Liverpool could sign Kudus for a fee lower than his £80million release clause in the summer transfer window.

The clause is seen as steep by a number of clubs despite the interest, and is unlikely to be activated this summer, with a move only likely to happen for a reduced price.

With just four goals and four assists across 35 appearances in all competitions this season, the Premier League’s elite clubs are not convinced by his displays.

Meanwhile, Brown told Football Insider in January that Kudus must step up for West Ham before he can earn a big move amid interest from Arsenal.

West Ham fans call for Mohammed Kudus to be sold

Kudus had previously been heralded as one of the most important players at the London Stadium, but he has failed to live up to expectations this season.

This is not the first time the Hammers’ fans have called for Kudus’ exit either, after he was spotted at the Emirates watching Arsenal against PSG in October.

Now, those calls for him to be sold have been renewed, as fans took to social media to express their frustrations labelling him “atrocious”.
