Football Whispers: West Ham attacker set for exit to top-flight team in reported £60k-a-week deal
By Harry Sykes
West Ham winger Sofiane Feghouli looks set to finally seal his deal to Turkish club Galatasaray, according to a report.
Sky Sports’ transfer section regularly plugs its Football Whispers section and Feghouli’s move to Galatasaray is now its fifth-strongest rumour with a rating of 4.7 (a rating of 5 signifies a certainty).
This comes on the back of a report from Turksih sports outlet Fanatik that claimed the player would undergo a medical with the Turkish giants ahead of a £4m move.
Fanatik also reported that Feghouli had agreed wages of £3.2m a year, which works out at around £61k-a-week.
Feghouli was one of Slaven Bilic’s transfers that didn’t work out.

He signed in a free transfer last summer and made 27 appearances for the club but only managed four goals and three assists.
Football Whispers looks at all the current transfer rumours and rates them out of a possibility of happening – with 5 being a certainty.
The Feghouli deal is rated at a very strong 4.7, behind Timothy Fosu-Mensah to Crystal Palace, Mario Lemina to Southampton, Bruno Martins Indi to Stoke and Dalbert to Inter Milan.
Football Insider verdict:
The Feghouli move to Galatasaray finally looks about to happen and it’s another good signing for the Turkish giants after they announced the capture of Fernando from Manchester City for a fee of almost of £5million. Feghouli was a decent gamble for the Hammers but he didn’t pay off and Bilic is now looking to more proven Premier League talent to move his team towards the top half of the table, and hopefully the European spots. The £4million profit they’ll make from this deal will help balance the books after a decent summer.
In other West Ham transfer news, the Hammers are set to miss out on the signing of this international midfielder to one of their Premier League rivals.
