Insider: West Ham to hand hot prospect first start in interesting early team news v Shrewsbury

West Ham hot prospect Reece Oxford is to make his first start of the season for the Hammers with David Moyes forced into making some changes to his starting XI for their FA Cup clash against Shrewsbury Town on Tuesday, according to an insider.
Twitter account ExWHUemployee, who has established themselves as a reliable source of inside information on all areas surrounding the club, has claimed that the 19-year-old, who was recalled from his loan spell at Borussia Monchengladbach earlier this month, will be turning out for the club, having missed the last four games through injury.
He also revealed in his early team news that there would be a youngster, not Oxford, who would be starting in the replay after the Hammers drew 0-0 in the reverse fixture, describing the team selection as interesting.

Oxford returned to the London Stadium after making just four appearances for the German side during his loan spell, which was supposed to be a season-long agreement between the two clubs.
He has a total of 16 appearances under his belt for the Hammers since making his debut as a 16-year-old in their Europa League clash against Lusitanos in 2015, while he also has five caps for England’s under-20 side.
The Hammers take on the League One title hopefuls off the back of a 4-1 thrashing of Huddersfield on Saturday, Manuel Lanzini netting a second half double.
In other West Ham news, the club have opened talks over the transfer of a powerhouse forward with European title holders.
