West Ham player ratings v Crystal Palace: Attacking duo get 9/10
By Will Butcher
Football Insider rates the West Ham players after they won 3-0 against Crystal Palace at the London Stadium on Saturday.
Darren Randolph 6 – Had little to do in the West Ham goal despite Palace’s possession.
James Collins 7 – Came into the side after struggling to break his way into Bilic’s starting eleven in recent weeks and will have done his chances no harm in maintaining a first-team slot. Solid, cleared his lines.
Winston Reid 7 – Solid at the back for the Hammers, handled target man Christian Benteke well. Top defender.
Angela Ogbonna 5 – Unclear as to whether the Italy international suffered an injury, Ogbonna was hauled at half-time by manager Slaven Bilic as he changed formation.

Mark Noble 8 – The 29-year-old lead by example. Wonderful performance, as he showed both creativity and desire for the Hammers. Passion, determination and skill all on show from the captain.
Pedro Obiang 8 – Tireless. With a similar work ethic to Chelsea’s N’Golo Kante, Obiang mopped up a number of loose balls in midfield as well as covering his teammates.
Michail Antonio – 9 Game of two halves for Antonio. Three assists and a magnificent second-half display, after having little impact in the first half.
Aaron Cresswell 7 – Solid as left wing-back, and swung a number of swirling crosses into the box that caused confusion among Palace defenders. Strong case for Gareth Southgate’s next England squad.
Sofiane Feghouli 7 – Worked hard, and finally ended his poor start in east London by sliding in Antonio’s cross to break the deadlock.
Manuel Lanzini 8 – Good effort from the playmaker, at the heart of most of the Hammers’ attacking play. Slightly wasted out wide, brilliant chip for the third.
Andy Carroll 9 – Struggled in the first half, the 28-year-old man lead the line brilliantly and rounded the win off with an unbelievable overhead kick.
Sam Byram (On for Ogbonna, 45 mins) 7
Edimilson Fernandes (On for Lanzini, 87 mins) 6
Ashley Fletcher (On for Antonio, 89 mins) 6
In other West Ham news, a Sky journalist has claimed Slaven Bilic played Dimitri Payet against his will.
