Man City need Kevin de Bruyne back to his best
Football Insider opinion
It’s been a challenging season for De Bruyne as injuries continue to plague him. Each time he seems to regain form—like his standout performance against Nottingham Forest—his momentum is abruptly halted.
As it stands, the midfielder’s contract at the Etihad Stadium expires at the end of this season, leaving him free to sign a pre-contract agreement with another club as early as this month.

Reports suggest that the Belgian star has already held discussions with Major League Soccer clubs about a potential move.
If the City legend does decide to leave, replacing him effectively will be crucial for the team’s long-term success.
According to Football Insider, the Sky Blues are exploring the possibility of signing Dani Olmo, whose contract situation remains uncertain.
The Spanish international would be an exciting addition, especially with De Bruyne’s ongoing injury concerns.
Pep Guardiola’s side currently sits in sixth place, with hopes of securing a fifth consecutive Premier League title all but dashed. For City, the priority now is to recover their form and finish strongly to secure a top-four spot in the league, as well as remain competitive in the Champions League.
In other news, Man City are among a number of Premier League clubs to sign one of their former players.
