West Ham told £20m Walker-Peters bid will be accepted – sources

Southampton have told West Ham it will take £20m to sign Kyle Walker-Peters this summer, sources have told Football Insider.

This comes after talks between the London-based club and Premier League new boys over a deal for the right-back.

Even though the Premier League sides have been negotiating, sources say there is no agreement in place.

The 27-year-old is believed to be keen to join the Irons this summer as he heads into the final year of his Saints contract.

West Ham are in the market for a right-back in this window after losing Ben Johnson, who left the club at the end of his contract.

Even though Southampton are willing to sell Walker-Peters this summer, they may lose out on a deal with West Ham.

The Hammers are currently assessing the market for other options, including Torino’s Raoul Bellanova.

Football Insider also revealed that West Ham have also enquired about Man United’s Aaron Wan-Bissaka, who will be allowed to leave Old Trafford this summer.

Football Insider reported that Southampton have set their sights on West Brom forward Brandon Thomas-Asante.
