When Jorgen Strand Larsen could make his debut for new club after Wolves ‘agreement’ struck
Crystal Palace have reportedly reached an agreement for the signing of Wolves striker Jorgen Strand Larsen.
Strand Larsen has been linked with various clubs this month, with the Norway international keen to leave Molineux.
The 25-year-old only signed a new deal in the summer, but with Rob Edwards‘ team appearing a certainty to go down, he is keen to extend his stay in the Premier League.
Wolves are attempting to sign a replacement for Strand Larsen before the window shuts, with several players targeted by transfer chiefs.
Football Insider revealed on Tuesday that Wolves are among the clubs interested in Auxerre forward Lassine Sinayoko.

Jorgen Strand Larsen debut date set as Crystal Palace strike agreement
Strand Larsen‘s first year in the Premier League was a superb one. The striker netted 14 goals and proved key as Wolves survived relegation with a late-season flurry.
But the team’s struggles this season have been shared by the 25-year-old, who has netted just once in 21 league appearances.
| Jorgen Strand Larsen | Premier League 2025-26 |
| Appearances | 21 |
| Goals | 1 |
| Assists | 1 |
| Expected goals (xG) | 2.86 |
| Chances created | 7 |
| Duels won | 65 |
The cup competitions have provided some solace, however, with Strand Larsen scoring a brace against West Ham in August and bagging a hat-trick against Shrewsbury Town this month.
But he is now keen to thrive elsewhere, and Palace appear to have taken a huge step towards winning the race for his signature.
Norwegian outlet NRK reported on Thursday that the Eagles have agreed on a transfer fee with Wolves for the signing of Strand Larsen.
The Premier League’s bottom club reportedly wanted £40million for the striker, but it is unclear at what figure an agreement has been struck at.
Strand Larsen could even be seen in a Palace shirt for his debut when Oliver Glasner‘s team travel to Nottingham Forest on Sunday, the outlet reports.
Jean-Philippe Mateta future set after agreement
With Strand Larsen seemingly set for Selhurst Park, the path is clear for Jean-Philippe Mateta to leave in the coming days.
The Frenchman has expressed his desire to leave Palace, with Nottingham Forest leading the race for the striker.
The Tricky Trees offered £35m for Mateta this week, according to David Ornstein, but Palace are keen to secure a £40m package.
An agreement in the case of Strand Larsen could soften that stance, or indeed suggest movement has been made towards the figure.
What is clear is that the final days of the window promise a line of Premier League striking dominoes, with the first block ready to fall.
