Jack Whitehall makes gag at Tottenham and Kane expense during Brit Awards
By Richard Parks
Celebrity Arsenal fan Jack Whitehall made a cheeky joke about Tottenham’s chances of winning a trophy this season as he introduced Harry Kane at the Brit Awards on Wednesday night.
With Spurs not playing a midweek match, goal king Kane joined stars of the pop and music world for the annual bash at the O2 arena.
The Spurs striker presented a coveted award at the Brits, but not before comedian Whitehall took the opportunity to have a dig at his club’s expense.
“Our next presenter is a Tottenham striker… meaning the Brit award he hands out tonight will probably be the only trophy he gets his hands on this season,” said Whitehall at the Brit Awards, as quoted by The Sun.

Kane, 24, has been in superlative form this season, scoring 34 goals in 35 appearances across all competitions for Tottenham and is one of the leading player-of-the-year contenders.
However, Spurs’ hopes of ending their 10-year trophy drought rest on winning either the FA Cup or the Champions League after their Premier League hopes fell flat.
Manchester City are running away with the league crown and are huge favourites to win it following a remarkable set of results.
Spurs are still in the FA Cup, playing League One Rochdale at home in a fourth-round replay next week, and well placed to secure a Champions League quarter-final berth after drawing 2-2 at Juventus in their last-16 first leg.
