'They will get my name tattooed onto their skin' - Rangers summer signing reveals bizarre fan claims
By Aramide Oladipo
Rangers summer signing Alfredo Morelos has revealed that the club’s supporters have informed him that they will get his name “tattooed onto their skin” if he scores in this weekend’s Old Firm Derby.
Pedro Caixinha’s men welcome arch rivals and current SPL champions Celtic to Ibrox on Saturday afternoon for the first clash between the two sides this season.
Morelos, 21, is set to experience his first taste of the derby and he is likely to pose the biggest attacking threat for Rangers having already notched up seven goals in his first eight appearances for the club.
The Colombian is currently leading the SPL goalscoring chart in his debut campaign in Scotland with six strikes to his name.
As quoted in the Scottish Sun, the striker is looking forward to this weekend’s clash and he has admitted that the Rangers fans are desperate for him to get on the scoresheet against Celtic.

“My aim at Rangers is to be league champions,” he said.
“I want to make history with Rangers, I want to win the title this year and I want to make sure the Rangers fans are happy.
“When I meet them, they always ask me to score against Celtic. They tell me if I score the winner against them, they will get my name tattooed onto their skin!
“Both us and the supporters are looking forward to the game. Our fans won’t accept us losing to Celtic and neither do we.”
Rangers currently trail Celtic by five points in the league table after they only managed to draw away at Partick Thistle last Friday evening, with Morelos opening the scoring.
The Gers will be out for revenge as they suffered two 5-1 defeats at the hands of Celtic last season.
