William Osula sends message to Newcastle fans message after selection
William Osula has sent a message to Newcastle United fans after he scored his first goal for the football club.
The Magpies came from behind to defeat Bromley 3-1 at St James’ Park to progress into the fourth round of the FA Cup.
Goals from Lewis Miley, Anthony Gordon, and Osula guaranteed that Newcastle remained in the competition and extended their unbeaten run to eight games.
The game was a particularly important one for Osula as it was his first goal for Newcastle since joining the club during the past summer transfer window for £10million from Sheffield United.
The Denmark Under-21 international has made 10 appearances for Eddie Howe’s side since making the move, and he reacted to opening his account on social media.
Osula said, “First goal for @ufc what a feeling. Thank you Jehovah all glory to you.”

Newcastle focusing on retaining their players
Osula could earn himself more game time if the Magpies are forced to sell some of their attacking players in the January transfer window.
Newcastle want to keep hold of their players this January, but they are restricted from making more signings due to profit and sustainability rules.

The Magpies drew Birmingham City away from home in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
Howe’s team will be back in action on Wednesday (15 January) as they face Wolves in the Premier League.
