Celtic are now under pressure for title, must respond v Aberdeen

COMMENT
Celtic haven’t been under pressure in the Scottish Premiership for a few years, but with Rangers defeating Hearts 2-0 at Ibrox to cut the gap at the top of the league to six points, the pressure is now on.
To add even more intrigue to the game, a win for the Dons would see them cut the gap at the top of the league to six points.
The Hoops need to send a message in their game in hand, against third placed Aberdeen to show that they are back on track following the Europa League exit to Zenit on Thursday.
The Bhoys haven’t played well for most of the season, and remarkably they haven’t managed to string together four league wins in a row this season.
They will need the likes of Moussa Dembele, Scott Sinclair and Scott Brown to show up after disappointing against Zenit.
If the likes of Mikael Lustig and Dorus de Vries play after making howlers in Russia, they have a responsibility to make it up to their team-mates and the fans.
Brendan Rodgers has to send his team out to prove a point against Aberdeen, that the title isn’t going anywhere, and that Celtic are still by far the best team in Scotland.
