If Wolves beat top-4 PL side in reported race for teen sensation, all bets are off next season

If Wolves can beat Liverpool once more by signing Inter Milan striker Andrea Pinamonti from under the noses of the Reds, after they were named alongside the Merseysiders in The Sun as pursuers of the forward, they must be considered a force in the Premier League.
Nuno Espirito Santo’s side have already reportedly beaten the Anfield club to the signing of Stoke City and England keeper Jack Butland, and adding Pinamonti into the mix will show their might all the more.
The 18-year-old is wanted by a host of Europe’s top sides but the club, who are owned by Chinese conglomerate Fosun International, are showing they are not happy to just stay in the Premier League, they want to be one of the division’s top sides.
With Leo Bonatini bizarrely unable to find the back of the net for the Championship champions since December, despite scoring freely prior to his drought and Benik Afobe not a Premier League level player, the club needs to improve their options going forward.
At 18-years-old, Pinamonti isn’t the answer right now, he is one for the future.

Nonetheless, getting one over Liverpool will be considered a coup and a punt that looks good for the future.
