Wolves expected 4-2-3-1 v Burton: Manchester United man to start

By Amir Mir

Cameron Borthwick-Jackson could be in line to make his debut for Wolves in Saturday’s clash against Burton after completing a season-long loan move from Manchester United.

Walter Zenga’s side will be looking to add to their impressive start to the season, with two wins, two draws and one loss from their opening five Championship fixtures.

Despite losing 1-0 to table toppers Huddersfield Town prior to the international break, Zenga is expected to make one change to his defensive line with Borthwick-Jackson replacing 21-year-old Dominic Iorfa.

Carl Ikeme will start between the sticks for the Midlands side, as the Nigerian international has kept two clean sheets in five games.

Captain Danny Batth is set to start at the heart of the club’s defence, alongside 21-year-old Kortney Hause.

The club’s top scorer midfielder Lee Evans will look to add to his tally of two goals, as he partners Conor Coady in the middle of the park.

Summer signing Jón Daði Böðvarsson is likely to lead the line for Zenga, as the Icelandic international looks to put in the impressive performance that won him plaudits in the 3-1 win against rivals Birmingham.

On-loan Benfica duo Helder Costa and Joao Teixeira are the likely providers of creativity for the Championship side.

This is the first meeting between these two sides, as Wolves look to extended their unbeaten home run at Molineux to ten matches.

Nigel Clough’s side have scored five goals in two games on the road this term, but have picked up only one point, as Burton look to add to their seven points in five games.
