Wolves fans go berserk on Twitter after Birmingham loss
By Danny Wright
Wolves fans have vented their frustration on Twitter after seeing their side lose 2-1 to 10-men Birmingham City on Friday night.
Maikel Kieftenbeld opened the scoring in the 27th minute after a howler from Carl Ikeme before former Wolves player David Davis doubled Birmingham’s lead five minutes later.
Blues defender Paul Robinson was shown a straight red early in the second half but Wolves could only pull back one goal through Nouha Dicko.
Fans were not happy with their team’s efforts in a crucial West Midlands derby which had serious repercussions at the bottom of the table.
Burton and Blackburn drew 1-1 which meant Paul Lambert’s side slipped down to 20th place in the Championship. Victories for Bristol City and Wigan over the weekend could see Wolves slip down another place and they could be just two points clear of the bottom three come their next match against high-flying Reading next week.
Supporters took to social media to vent their anger and here is a selection of their tweets:

Supporters clearly want a change to the personnel at Molineux and are very critical of Lambert’s team selections.
Two players the fans want to see back are Mike Williamson, who was back on the bench after his latest spell on the sidelines, and Romain Saiss who has only featured for six minutes of football since mid-December.
