Wolves’ Jorgen Strand Larsen responds to Fer Lopez post amid Newcastle links
Wolves striker Jorgen Strand Larsen has been eyed up by Newcastle United as the future of Alexander Isak remains uncertain.
Strand Larsen joined Wolves on loan last season and he played a pivotal role in the club being able to pull themselves away from the relegation zone.
The Norwegian permanently signed for the West Midlands club this summer, but he could be on the move again as Newcastle are desperate to line up a replacement should Isak depart.
Isak is not involved in the Toons pre-season tour of Asia and was also left out of the trip to Celtic in their first pre-season friendly as the Swedish international wants to explore a move away from the club.

Wolves already have Strand Larsen replacement
Having lost Matheus Cunha to Manchester United, Wolves have been in the market already to sign a new forward.
Fer Lopez joined the club from Celta Vigo this summer and the 21-year-old already looks to be settling in well at the club.
Taking to Instagram, Lopez posted pictures from Wolves’ pre-season training camp, with the caption a wolf emoji.
Strand Larsen liked the post and responded with a love heart emoji amid the transfer speculation.
Transfer business not concluded at Wolves
Football Insider Verdict
Having only announced him as a permanent signing this summer, manager Vitor Pereira will have been planning for Strand Larsen to once again be the main striker for the club next season.
Strand Larsen was a threat in the penalty area with his ariel ability and poacher instinct last season and his departure would be a massive blow to Pereira just weeks before the start of the new season.

Wolves have signed promising young talent Lopez, but the 21-year-old only scored two goals in 17 La Liga appearances last campaign, suggesting he is a player for the future.
Winger Jhon Arias has also arrived from Fluminense, but Pereira could still do with more firepower in his squad.
The loss of Cunha also leaves a creative void behind the striker which has still not been replaced.
There is still plenty of transfer business for the club to conclude with a new right-back, after the departure of Nelson Semedo, and a goalkeeper high on their list of priorities.
