‘The worst’, ‘Leave my club’ – Celtic fans fume at one player for first-half display v Hearts
Celtic fans have destroyed goalkeeper Craig Gordon on Twitter after a terrible first-half display against Hearts on Sunday lunchtime.
Gordon has been a mainstay between the posts for the Hoops since his arrival back in 2014, succeeding England shot-stopper Fraser Forster.
The 34-year-old even rekindled an International career during his time at Celtic Park, after impressing the powers that be early in his Celtic career.
However, an absolute howler today has led to some fans calling for his head, with one fan saying he’s not good enough to play for Celtic.
Hoops fans took to Twitter to voice their concern after the 6’4 Scot was beaten at his near post and for his general distribution in the game that Celtic are currently losing 2-0.
Here are a few of the best reactions from disgruntled celtic fans:
16-year-old Harry Cochrane beat the Scottish keeper in the 26th minute, before Celtic’s problems were doubled as Kyle Lafferty made it 2-0 in the 35th.
It means that they’re facing the loss of their domestic unbeaten record, although they still have the whole of the second half to sort things out. They’ve been here before.
