Wrexham agree deal to sign Josh Adam after Man City exit – report
Wrexham have agreed a deal to sign Josh Adam on a free transfer following his release from Man City.
According to the Daily Mail’s Jack Gaughan, the 20-year-old central midfielder is set to sign a two-year deal with the League One club after a successful trial period.
Adam left Man City when his contract expired in the summer.
It was a busy transfer window for Wrexham, singing Ollie Rathbone from Rotherham for a club-record fee of £500,000 in August.
The Welsh club then spent the same amount to secure the signature of striker Mo Faal from West Brom two weeks later.

Wrexham set to sign free agent Josh Adam
Speaking after Wrexham’s 3-0 League One victory over Shrewsbury, manager Phil Parkinson confirmed the club’s interest in singing Adam.
Parkinson said, “At the moment we will roll with what we have got.
“We have got some good players who haven’t figured much yet, so we don’t want to bring someone in for the sake of it.

“We have had young Josh Adam in from Man City on trial. He is a player we would like to keep because he has got real talent but in terms of a senior player coming in at the moment, we have got enough of those fighting for places.”
Adam scored 18 goals and provided 12 assists across 99 appearances throughout various age groups at Man City.
