Tony Xia sends upbeat message to bitter Aston Villa player
By Harvey Byrne
Tony Xia has sent his support to Aaron Tshibola on Twitter following Aston Villa’s 1-1 draw with Huddersfield.
The Yorkshire club rescued a late point at Villa Park on Tuesday after a dreadful mistake from goalkeeper Pierluigi Collini allowed Michael Hefele to level the scoring on the 86th minute after Ross McCormack put his side ahead.
It moved the Midlands club onto four points and they now sit 11th in the table, while the Terriers maintained their good start and sit joint top of the table in third place.
New-signing Tshibola, clearly unhappy with the late points drop, took to Twitter on Thursday afternoon to air his disappointment and reveal he was still “bitter” about the result.
Still bitter about yesterday! But we now look forward to Saturday! #AVFC #godisincontrol https://t.co/zOu3rg6oaR

However, club owner Xia offered his support to the 21-year-old, saying that he will learn from failure and success.

Tshibola was brought off just before Huddersfield went up the pitch and got their equaliser.
The youngster made the switch from Reading earlier this summer for an undisclosed fee signing a four-year contract.
He has starred for Roberto Di Matte’s side in all four of Aston Villa’s fixtures so far this campaign.
The Italian boss is looking to return Villa to the Premier League at the first time of asking and he has brought in five-players this summer, which includes Tshibola, Tommy Elphick and James Chester, with the latter duo dropping down from the Premier League.
In other Aston Villa team news, Xia has given his full support to goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini in the wake of his costly error.
