Yannick Bolasie hails Everton star Lukaku as he continues stunning scoring form

By Harvey Brne

Romelu Lukaku continued his stunning form in front of goal on Saturday evening – and Everton teammate Yannick Bolasie was quick to hail him on Twitter.

The powerful 23-year-old bagged a late equaliser for Belgium after they were held to a 1-1 draw against nine-man Greece.

It was a poor result for Roberto Martinez’ side to take as they would have aimed for all three points in order to move clear at the top of their qualifying group.

However, Lukaku’s strike marked his 10th in seven outings for both club and country in an incredible return from the young striker.

His recent displays have received many plaudits and one of those was close teammate Bolasie, who shared on his personal Twitter account “what a goal” as Lukaku struck the ball into the back of the net.

Lukaku’s fine form has seen him take his total for the season with Everton to 22 goals in 30 appearances in all competitions.

However, his future with the Merseysiders remains in doubt with his current contract set to run out in the summer of 2019.

There have been reports that he will not sign a new deal for the club, meaning the Toffees may have to sell him this summer if they are to receive his true value.

In other Everton news, Phil Neville had this heartfelt message for Toffees ace Seamus Coleman.
