'You deserve it' - Leeds fans post emotional responses to Pedraza Twitter message
By Amir Mir
Alfonso Pedraza has informed his Twitter followers that he has been called up for training with the Spain Under-21’s – and Leeds fans have reacted by hoping he can return to the club.
The 21-year-old was on loan at Elland Road from La Liga outfit Villareal when he made a switch during the January Transfer window.
As things stand, he will return to his parent club but there are a fair few Leeds supporters who wouldn’t mind him making a return to the club.
Here is Pedraza posting his Twitter message accompanied by a picture with him in a Spain shirt:
“Happy for being called up for the training with Spain under-21’s,” Pedraza wrote on his personal Twitter account.

On the international stage, Pedraza has never been called up to the senior side but he has represented his home country at the under-19 and under-21 levels.
Pedraza made his debut for the under-21’s in March 2016 and has since gone on to earn two call-ups for his country.
Nonetheless, Leeds fans were reacting to his Twitter message as they were hopeful that he will be at the club next season.
One supporter believes Pedraza can be one of the best in Yorkshire if he makes a return in the summer while another stated ‘you deserve it’ when referring to his under-21 call-up
Overall, the Elland Road faithful went berserk at Pedraza’s Twitter message as they all had one thing on their mind.
Here is a selection of their messages on Twitter:

When Pedraza initially arrived at Leeds, he struggled to earn regular game time under his manager Garry Monk.
For his first six matches, he only made one start for the Championship outfit before he was named in the starting XI for four matches on the bounce.
Nonetheless, during his brief period at the club, Pedraza made 14 appearances for his side, scoring his one and only goal away at Birmingham City in March.
That was the last away match Monk’s side ended up winning towards the back end of the campaign as they went on to miss out on a top six finish by five points.
In other Leeds news, the club has been installed as joint favourites to land top-flight goal machine.
