Aston Villa fans have taken to Twitter to heap praise on Gabriel Agbonlahor as he scored the only goal of the game in a 1-0 win against Birmingham on Sunday.
The experienced attacker was introduced to the Villa Park pitch in the 59th minute when he came off the bench for a lacklustre Jack Grealish.
He was booked almost straight away as he stoked the fire of what was a turgid second-city derby.
Birmingham looked to be on top before Agbonlahor scrambled home the winner in the 68th minute after Nathan Baker headed the ball down into a melee of players.

It was Agbonlahor’s first goal in 14 months on his comeback from a hamstring injury that had kept him out of action since January.
The 30-year-old, who has spent his entire career at Villa Park, has made 383 appearances for Villa in all competitions, scoring 85 goals.
Fans were understandably delighted with his 31 minute display on Sunday – here is a selection of their tweets:

Steve Bruce’s side moved up to 12th with the three points and are now level with Preston on 61 points.
Birmingham, on the other hand, are left just two points clear of the relegation zone with two games to play.
Blackburn are Blues’ nearest rivals on 44 points, and they welcome Villa to Ewood Park in their next match.
In other Aston Villa news, this player gets 4/10 in the player ratings from the win against Blues.
