Youri Tielemans backed to explode at Arsenal as ‘big’ claim issued – pundit
Alan Hutton has backed Youri Tielemans to “flourish” if he completes a move from Leicester City to Arsenal.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Tottenham and Scotland full-back claimed Tielemans would be a “big signing” for the Gunners.
Goal reported on Friday (26 August) that Arsenal are yet to submit a bid for the 25-year-old but he is a long-term target.

Sources told Football Insider last month (18 July) that Tielemans is keen on a move to the Emirates and wants a deal to happen as soon as possible.
The Belgium international has only a year left on his Leicester contract and has rejected multiple offers of a new deal.
“It’s hard to break into that Arsenal side at this moment in time with the way they are playing,” Hutton told Football Insider correspondent Charlotte Cohen.
“Again, I think he adds quality. It’s not about bringing in another number. I think he makes the team better.
“He will be a big signing for Arsenal.
“He’ll have his eyes on playing week in, week out and I think he can do that there.
“No disrespect to Leicester but he’ll have better players around him and he can flourish there, he’s a fantastic footballer.
“If they can get that over the line, the way they are playing at the moment, teams in and around Arsenal will fear them.”

Tielemans has scored 24 times and provided a further 24 assists in 163 games across all competitions in three years at Leicester.
He scored the winning goal as the Foxes won the FA Cup in 2021 with a 1-0 win over Chelsea.
