Agbonlahor reveals how he expects ex-teammate Josh Onomah to fare at Rangers after source’s reveal
Gabby Agbonlahor has suggested Josh Onomah could be a success at Rangers if he is given a run of games to refind his best form.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-England forward admitted the Premier League has not been kind to his former Aston Villa teammate but he still had the ability to thrive elsewhere.
Sources told Football Insider earlier this week (5 December) that Rangers are plotting a January move for the 25-year-old as Michael Beale is a long-term admirer.

Beale considered signing the midfielder for Queens Park Rangers in the summer and is set to rekindle his interest.
The Tottenham academy graduate is out of contract at Fulham in the summer and is also attracting interest from a number of Championship clubs
“I do like Josh Onomah,” Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley.
“Steve Bruce was after him at West Brom before the transfer window closed.
“He just never kicked on, to be honest. I don’t know why.
“Maybe the Premier League hasn’t been kind to him but he could definitely do a job in the Championship or the Scottish Premiership at a club.
“He just needs a run of games, he just needs to go somewhere where he’s going to play.
“He’s not going to play at Fulham, there’s no point in him being there in the Premier League.
“He’s at that age now, 25, where he needs to play football.”

Onomah made just two Premier League appearances for Fulham in the first part of the season.
The former England youth international has eight goals and 12 assists in 99 Championship games across his time at Fulham, Villa and Sheffield Wednesday.
In other news, Rangers are plotting a January move to sign a striker wanted by Celtic.
