Alan Shearer delivers instant Twitter verdict after Newcastle draw v Swansea
Newcastle were held to a 1-1 draw at home to Swansea on Saturday in another hugely disappointing result for Rafa Benitez.
Newcastle legend Alan Shearer was not impressed either and he took to Twitter as soon as the game was over with his verdict.
He said that the display was “not good enough” and that it was “two points dropped” a view that will be shared by all Newcastle fans.
Two points dropped today. Should be beating poor opposition at home. A point not good enough. Had enough chances to win 3 games. #newswa

The draw leaves Swansea rooted to the bottom of the Premier League with 17 points.
Newcastle are in 14th spot but only three points off the relegation zone, and fans will be worried that they can’t finish off a team like Swansea at home.
There’s still no positive news on the transfer front either, with the takeover still to go through and Benitez still to receive any promises about money to spend.
It’s tough times for Newcastle fans – something that Alan Shearer feels only too keenly.
