Anthony McPartlin and Declan Donnelly are euphoric on Twitter after Newcastle picked up seven points against three of the Championship’s leading pack.
McPartlin and Donnelly, who form the famous television duo Ant and Dec, watched from the sidelines as the presenters’ beloved Toon moved three points clear at the top of the table.
Ant posted on their official Twitter account, claiming they would “take that” after picking up seven points against Huddersfield, Brighton and Reading in the past eight days.

Newcastle began the week with a last-gasp 2-1 win against automatic promotion rivals Brighton at the Amex Stadium, that saw Mo Diame and Ayoze Perez score in the final ten minutes.
That result was then backed up by a wonderful away win against third-placed Huddersfield on Saturday, as Benitez’s men brushed aside the Terriers with a 3-1 win in Yorkshire.
In what was their third away game in a row on Tuesday night, the Toon held firm to keep play-off hopefuls Reading at bay by clinching their 18th clean sheet of the season in a 0-0 draw.
The three results have pushed the Toon to within touching distance of an instant return to the Premier League, as they sit nine points clear of the play-offs.
Benitez’s Magpies are next in action against another in-form side in Fulham, who will be in buoyant mood after securing a 96th-minute equaliser against Leeds on Tuesday night.
A win could see Ant and Dec’s side go six points clear at the top, if Brighton lose to Derby at home on Saturday.
